Zardari is not going to quit, will return Pakistan tomorrow

Islamabad : According to Spokesman of Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, he is not going to quit and has gone to Dubai for medical tests, he was talking over speculation mounted by Pakistani and foreign media that the president may step down, apparently under intense army pressure over the ‘memogate’ scandal.

More speculation were caused by a so called US magazine named ‘Foreign Policy’ which had said Zardari, who had gone to Dubai for treatment, would not return, apparently giving in to intense heat put up by the powerful Generals, this means the US is also interested in heating up uncertainty in Pakistan through local and foreign media.

Actually Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, 56, left for Dubai yesterday on a private visit to meet his children and undergo some medical tests, and may be returning tomorrow.
