Karachi : According to a press relaese by Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has informed that currently three vessels, carrying a total of around 120,000 tonnes of urea, MV Grate Mary carrying 27,500 tonnes, MV Medi Lisbon carrying 47,334 tonnes and MV Dubai Ambassador carrying 45,000 tonnes are under discharge at Gwadar Port.
The arrival of above shipments of Urea the arrived quantity would work out to around 400,000 tonnes against the total contracted quantity of 700,000 tonnes being imported by TCP under the directives of Government.
The process of cargo discharge as well as lifting and transportation of urea by National Fertiliser Marketing Limited (NFML) is underway, round the clock.
As per shipment schedules received, the balance around 326,000 tonnes would also arrive by the end of December 2011.
