Islamabad : A C -130 plane carrying President Zardari's body guards, foreign office staff and media team to Iran on Saturday escaped a disaster when it was called after fuel started leaking from its engine. The aircraft had been called back twelve minutes after take off when crew found fuel started leaking from engine of the plane, according to a private Pakistani TV channel.
It returned and landed safely at Benazir International airport without causing any damage. The sources said President Zardari was not in the aircraft.
