LAHORE : Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch has said that the MQM whether part of the government or out of it, was a curse for the Karachi people and the PPP had done a blunder by taking it a partner in the government.stressed upon holding APC to find out ways and means for restoring peace.
Liaquat Baloch said that the MQM and the ANP being directly involved in the Karachi riots, should not be invited to the APC.
Meanwhile, JI Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan while expressing concern over the continued disappearance of Masood Janjua, husband of Amina Masood Janjua, chairperson, Defence of Human Rights, Pakistan, has demanded his immediate release.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, he alleged that Masood Janjua had been abducted years ago and in the custody of the agencies. But now it had been stated in the court that Masood Janjua had been killed by the Al-Qaida, he said.
