London : The leader of MQM Altaf Hussain reacting the re-establishing of commissionerate system in Karachi had said that the present government has restored the British-era system just to retain its rule.
Altaf Hussain said that the present government system is not a democratic one, and called it an “authoritarian democracy” system and called on all political parties to work together on a one-point agenda to get rid of this authoritarian democracy. Irionically his party has remain the part of the said government.
Altaf Hussain paid rich tributes to the victims of Kati Pahari, Orangi Town and Qasba Colony and assured the victims that the MQM will not leave them at the mercy of terrorists.
The City government system was most beneficial for MQM, due to its division and management in whole Sindh and commissionerate system will effect mostly to MQM in big cities of Sindh.
From Last three years both PPP and ANP were trying to re-establish the commissionerate system as new system was solely made to benefited MQM according to the both parties.
