KARACHI: Several explosions were heard inside a Naval base in PNS Mehran near Pakistan Air Force base Faisal, in which several people are injured, Fire and smoke is seen in a four engine Naval air craft, probably P-3 Orion reconnaissance air craft, standing inside a Naval hanger. The force of the blasts have shattered the windows of surrounding buildings, reports said.
Heavy gunfire was also reported after the explosion. Police and law enforced agencies have cordoned off the area.
Interior Minister Reman Malik said that terriorist have attacked the base and are probably still inside the Naval base.
Naval and Army commandoes have reached in the area and black out in the area is carried out.
