The Missing Journalist Saleem Shahzad Found dead near Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Journalist Syed Saleem Shahzad’s who went missing from Isalamabad on Sunday was found dead in Sarai Alamgir, nearly 200 kilometres from Islamabad on Tuesday. He was the Pakistan bureau chief of Asia Times Online. 

Reports claim that it has been confirmed that his body has been identified and showed signs of torture.

Few Days he had authored an article that alleged Pakistan Navy Officials with Al Qaeda links.

Earlier it had been reported that Shahzad’s car had been found in Sarai Alamgir and a body had also been discovered nearby. However, it had not been identified at the time. Police also reported finding a diary in the car with many contacts listed inside it.
