Paris: France has banned face-veil of Muslim women after more than a year of controversy, the ban on full face veil in France has just come into effect from today.
But some women are already vowing to defy the restriction as they think that banning veil is interference of government in religious obligations. There have been lot of protests by Muslim women in France and Europe to stop France Far Right groups to ban on Freedom to wear.
As the far right gains increasing popularity in France, President Nicolas Sarkozy has been accused of trying to win back votes in the run-up to next year's presidential election by deliberately stigmatizing Muslims, but the French government vehemently denies this.
Muslim women question the dress code of France and ask the world to protect their right to wear what they want.
Some people say that it has to do nothing with male dominance but only fear of Islam that France has banned the veil and asked other Europeans to follow banning veil.
