Palestinians protesting at Egypt- Gaza Border
The new Government in Cairo is trying to rebuild the strained relations with Palestinian people and has acknowledge their suffering. The previous regime has will fully backed Israeli plan and has closed the borders despite calls from many human right activist.

Israel observes severe blockade of Palestinian people and bans imports of almost all basic items needed by common uses including medicine and food for children.

The Hosni Mubarak regime has for many years retained good ties with Israel with the backing of United States and kept the border closed with Gaza due to which Palestinian people has to bring the basic items, food and medicine through tunnel to keep up their livelihood.
