KARACHI: Karachi Transport Ittehad/Union (KTI) on Friday called off two-day long transport strike unconditionally after their meeting with the Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan.
Earlier on Thursday the talks between the union and the Sindh government failed and the transporters announced to carry on strike until the government reverse its decision to raise fuel prices.
Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah held a meeting with the transport union earlier today before the decisive meeting with the governor.
Governor assured the union of reimbursing them with their losses.
