Recent Research shows a man shows an iceman who lived 5,300 years ago and affectionately nicknamed as Qetzi after teh Qetzial Apls in south Tyrol, northern Italy, where he was found in a glacier on 19 september 1991. The Iceman is believed to have died around the age of 45 years.
His height was about 1.6 meters and weighted 50 kg. Astonishingly he did not have blue eyes as previously thought.
The visitors may see Iceman Qetzi under a new lights in South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, as it celebrates the 20 th anniversary of the mummy's discovery.
