Pakistan Rangers hit back after Indian firing

LAHORE: The Indian Border Security Force on Thursday night started firing with heavy weapons across the Sialkot Working Boundary, said a press release issued by the Pakistan Rangers on Friday.

The unprovoked firing in the Bajwat sector continued for an hour, creating panic among local people. It stopped when the Rangers retaliated.

No loss of life was reported.

A meeting at the wing commander level was called to lodge protest over the incident, the press release said. —APP
