ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission on Saturday nominated Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani as a Supreme Court judge, DawnNews reported.
Justice Usmani has been serving as the Chief Justice at the Sindh High Court (SHC).
The commission named Justice Musheer Alam for the position of SHC Chief Justice.
The decision was made by the Judicial Commission headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.
These nominations will be sent to the Parliamentary Committee on judges appointment for further action.
