LAHORE: Cameron Munter, the US Ambassador to Pakistan, rang up Nawaz Sharif, chief of the PML-N, on Saturday and expressed regret over the death of three Pakistanis in the Lahore incident.
About Mr Davis, the ambassador contended that the US Embassy official be given in the Americans` custody since he enjoyed diplomatic immunity. But Mr Sharif politely turned down the plea, saying that the matter was sub judice.
