Atleast 70 people injured in New Year celebrations in Karachi

More than 70 persons were injured as a result of aerial firing in different areas of Karachi on the eve of New Year.
As per details, more than 70 people including women and children’s got injured on the eve of New Year celebration. Despite the imposition of section 144 in the city, aerial firing in different areas of Karachi sustained for more than two hours and during that police and rangers played the role of silence spectator.
Moreover Young hoodlums had removed the silencers of their motorcycles, but police force on duty remained helpless.
The injured people were sent to different private and government hospitals for treatments.
