DELL TO LAUNCH ITS ANDROID SMARTPHONE IN HONG KONG

Dell has announced the launch of its newest smartphone, the Dell Venue in Hong Kong, which is running Android 2.2 Froyo operating system with a proprietary UI.
Dell Venue is largely similar to Windows Phone 7-model the Dell Venue Pro. However, the Dell Venue doesn’t have a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera (replaced to 8 megapixels).
In specs of Dell Venue smartphone has brings a 4.1-inch touchscreen AMOLED display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) and Gorilla Glass, Bluetooth 2.3, Wi-Fi, GPS, MicroUSB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and a LED flash, and MicroSD card slot. The handset is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The Dell Venue smartphone is works in GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA 850/2100 MHz or 900/1700/2100 MHz (depending on region distribution) networks. Dimensions of Dell Venue are 121 x 64 x 12.9 mm.
