English-speaking 'Forest Boy' baffles the German Police


Berlin : A teenager who wandered out of the woods into Berlin two weeks ago speaks English, but says he has no idea who he is and has been living in the forest for five years with his father, who died recently, The Daily Telegraph reports. 

The blond, blue-eyed boy, who stands about 5-11, gives his name only as "Ray" and says he is 17. He speaks fluent English and broken German.

Head of Afghanistan’s High Peace Council and Former President Burhanuddin Rabbani Killed


KABUL: Former Afghan President and the head of Afghanistan’s High Peace Council, Burhanuddin Rabbani, who had been tasked with trying to negotiate a political end to the war, was killed early on Tuesday evening, according to a senior police officer. 

Burhanuddin Rabbani's home was in Kabul’s heavily guarded diplomatic enclave, and the attack came just a week after a 20-hour siege at the edge of the area sometimes known as the “green zone”.

ISLAMABAD: Recent floods in Sindh province, which were triggered by heavy monsoon rains have affected eight million people and atleast 352 people have been killed.
