One more Blind dolphin dies in Indus River



SUKKUR :  The Rare Blind dolphin found only in River Indus has found dead, raising the death toll of the rare species from Guddu to Sukkur to seven in a month. 

The 15-year old male fish, weighing 62 kilogram with a length of five feet and 10 inches, was found dead in the area of Gole Ali Wahan near Rohri.

Arrest Warrants of Musharraf sent to Britain



ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has sent the warrant of former president General (Rtd) Pervaiz Musharraf in connection the Benazir Bhutto assassination case to the British authorities.

According to sources in the interior ministry, the warrant was sent by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to Pakistan’s High Commission in London which forwarded it to the UK foreign affairs department.

Pakistan to buy more F-16s



WASHINGTON: Pakistan is trying to get more F-16 fighter jets from the United States to enhance its air capabilities, according to diplomatic sources.

In 2006, the US Congress agreed to give Pakistan 28 F-16C/Ds under its EDA or excess defence articles initiative. Fourteen of these aircraft have already been delivered.
